The
Directorate for Economic Affairs of the town of Rousset
lends support to enterprises wishing to establish themselves
in the activity zone.
It is not
sufficient however to offer assistance only, as it is
necessary at the same time to facilitate and to increase the
level of contribution which the town may propose to such
enterprises : this remains a priority to the local
authorities.
Numerous professional skills and proficiency are made
available to any business venture searching for proper
channels from which substantial support can be obtained,
ranging from facilitating encounters and contacts with
territorial partners (General Council, Regional Council, Communaute Agglomeration Aix),
with State administrations (DRIRE), with financial
institutions (banks, Development Banks specialized in
financing small and middle-sized enterprises).
The township is aware that their aim must be to
extend efficient and constant help to any type of structure
which can contribute to the improvement of the economic
welfare of the area and will therefore give unreserved
backing to anyone intent on increasing local employment
opportunities.
It it
therefore clear that the task of the Directorate of Economic
Affairs is to inform, to welcome and take charge of
candidates to such development. It will ensure proper
follow-up of all proposed projects and obviously its role
will be significant in establishing communication channels
between and within State services and local Government
services. It will monitor and intervene as counsel to
back-up demands for different types of help, whilst acting
as a coordinating body between various institutional
partners such as fiscal services, CCI (idem), DRIRE,
External Trade etc.
